The Ohio & Erie Canal in Summit County (Part 1)

The Ohio & Erie Canal enters Summit County through the Pinery Narrows - a section of the Cuyahoga River Valley that is only wide enough for the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, the Cuyahoga River, the canal, and the Towpath Trail. There are six locks on this portion of the tour, all of which are intact. None of them are truly watered. It also features the Brecksville Feeder, Goose Pond Weir, Brandywine Creek Culvert, Stumpy Basin, and Peninsula Feeder. The Boston Store sits next to the canal in Boston.
