One day, back in March of '97, a few of us started talking
about boardgames and how much we used to play them as kids. It seemed that now, as
adults, the only kind of boardgaming that we played was the occasional trivia game
when several couples got together. We all thought it would be fun to get together
and play some of the more involved "strategy" games similar to the ones
we played as kids.
So, we contacted some other friends that we knew were also
interested in playing boardgames and decided to start getting together on a
semi-regular basis. Thus was born the "Kitchen Table Gamers"
Now, every two to three weeks we get together to play
boardgames, socialize and generally just have fun.
