Synopsis: A terrific two player card game where players vie for control of patricians
of the Roman Senate. Players play cards on various families of the senate in the hopes of influencing
them to their side. When a Vote of Confidence is called for on a specific family, players reveal their
influence on that family. Whoever has the highest influence takes one of the patrician cards. This is
coupled with a deck of Action cards that let players look at the other players hand and discard a card,
assasinate the other players influence card, wipe out the other players influence completely, etc. This
game is a lot of fun and is highly recommended. This was nominated for Germany's 1998 "Game of the Year".

Synopsis: A classic game that dares you to push your luck. Players roll 4 dice
making combinations in order to move markers across a board. The markers are arranged in such a way
that combinations that are easier to make (i.e. "7") have a longer track than more difficult combinations
(i.e. "2" and "12"). Once you make it all the way across the board on a certain number no one else can
use that number. The trick here is that you can only go after 3 numbers at a time during your turn. If
you are unable to make a combination to get that number then all of your progress for this turn is lost.
You can stop rolling dice any time you want...or can you? A very addictive game. This was nominatied for
Germany's "Game of the Year" in 1982.

Synopsis: If you enjoy negotiation style games, then this game is a must!
The players assume the role of businessmen in 1930's Chinatown. The depression is over and
business is booming. On your turn you get buildings (assigned via a deck of cards) and some
tiles representing different businesses (Fireworks, Laundry, Tailor, etc.). Like businesses
that are adjacent to each other and owned by the same player are worth more. This is what
starts the wheeling and dealing, because you seldom get adjacent buildings. Therefore you
will strike deals with players that have what you need for what they need. Chinatown is an
absolute blast to play! This was nominated for Germany's 1999 "Game of the Year".

Synopsis: Ancient Roman chariot racing. This is basically a
racing game with a twist. You can attack other players or even other player's
horses. If you enter a turn too fast you run the risk of flipping your chariot.
If you drive your horses too hard they become fatigued and can even die, making
you lose valuable time while you attempt to cut them loose. With 8 people it is
a lot of fun.
