Forensic analysis of whiskey
Analysis
- From the sample chromatograph, peak 1 is not especially prominent.
There was no a priori reason to suspect its importance.
- Why not just do the discriminant analysis first?
- Discriminant analysis will always find a solution. The confirmatory
techniques and test results were needed to validate the solution.
