Chemometrics - Methodology
Plan the experiment yourself
- The best results are obtained when you have an intimate knowledge of
your experimental conditions.
- Use statistically designed experiments when possible.
- Review the literature for similar efforts.
- Well defined methodologies exist for some disciplines, e.g. Parsons and
Wolff for pattern recognition and Malinowski and Howery for factor analysis.
- Consider the analysis goal when choosing your chemical techniques and variables
to measure.
