Review carefully all results obtained

• Consider what has been observed.
  • When results don't match what you know, the techniques are probably at fault.
    • Violations of critical assumptions or flawed data can interfere with results.

  • Don't abandon knowledge. Stick with common sense.

Chemometric techniques come with no guarantees of success.
