November 22nd marks the 45th anniversary of President Kennedy's assassination.
In remembrance of that event, this week's Jean Shepherd's broadcast is from
Monday November 25, 1963.
"Shep" was noted for his stories of childhood friends,
Flick, Bruner, Schwartz, and his "Old Man".
But not this night - It was just Shep, a microphone, and you.
He gives us his thoughts of the past few days culminating
in the burial of President Kennedy earlier that day.
We were still in shock, but Jean Shepherd brought a
feeling of calm and civility to us all.
