History of King Farm

Michael andJoanne King have owned, bred and ridden horses for over 30 years. Joanne has shown gaited horses in as number of seperate disciplines of competition riding, and has succeeded wining many awards and trophies. Both Joanne and Michael have extensively rode on trail rides and have camped with our horses in many states and private parks. When we both retired, it was decided to narrow our efforts into the training and sale of Tennessee Walking Horses that have a pedigree traced back, as near to reason, to the Roy Rogers Trigger II line. Joanne has researched and developed a list of Tennessee Walkers that match that outline. We have purchased horses that will fulfill that agenda.

Mission Statement of King Farm

Our purpose and mission is to provide to those that want the quality of Tennessee Walker Horses without paying a large price for the privilege. We have managed to keep our farm small to maintain a lower cost per horse. Joanne and Michael perform most of the training on the farm. Occassionally, we will hire an experienced trainer to smooth out the more refined lines that a Tennessee Walker is capable of performing. With this thought in mind, some of our Walkers will be priced a little higher than we expected. But the value is there!

Hope you enjoy looking at our horses and look forward to hearing from you!
