The Nursery

Our kittens descend from Grand Champion, Regional, and National Winner lines. They are raised as members of the family. We assist the mother during delivery, sometimes physically helping her and other times just providing clean bedding and special food. The kittens then spend their first 9-12 weeks in our bedroom, getting lots of attention and initial vaccinations before being introduced to the other cats in the household. This separation allows the mother to feel secure in her setting and provides time for the kittens’ immune systems to develop.

Because our main goal is to improve the breed, we do not place kittens before 12 weeks of age, and most kittens are not placed until 16 weeks old. This allows us to administer vaccines, judge temperament, properly wean and socialize, and assess the kitten’s show potential. As exhibitors, we must choose our next generation of show cats with care, and we cannot necessarily promise that a particular kitten/color/gender will be available as a pet.

We breed only 2-3 litters per year, and therefore, do not always have kittens available; however, we do take reservations and are happy to refer you to other reputable breeders when possible.

Kittens placed in pet homes are guaranteed to be healthy and FeLV/FIV negative. In placing a kitten, we want to be certain that you and the kitten will be a good fit; therefore, we prefer to place them locally or within a day's drive but will sometimes agree to shipping. We welcome home visits and are happy to connect with prospective “parents” at cat shows. We will certainly ask you a number of questions and encourage you to do the same.

We will always take our kittens back should an owner be unable or unwilling to care for a kitten/cat of our breeding at any time. Below are photos of some of our litters.
