Dear Brethren,

There is so much that has happened since July. Originally, Bill Sheppard and I set up a website for Mr. Pack, after the Rod Meredith split from Global, to "feed people who were confused". We posted Mr. Pack's sermons. Bill mastered the sermons and I converted them and posted them on the website. Everything went fine. Mr. Pack was always involved in what we were posting and the setup and appearance of the website. He later said that he knew nothing of the website until RCG formed in May.

Bill and I were offered jobs at headquarters and made plans to quit our jobs and start to work at the new office site. We started to repair the minor damage to walls, desks, and other things needed before the move. By July he had decided that Bill and I "weren't office material" and behind our backs, made plans to oust us from the job offers. Please understand that losing the job isn't what upset me, it was the sneaky way he went about "getting rid of us". This wasn't the Christian way a minister should act. He set up an interview for us with a man that wasn't even employed by RCG, so he could later tell us that we weren't qualified for the positions. Why didn't he just come to us and tell us that he had changed his mind?

We had had some beer at headquarters for some adult refreshment. At one time, one of the volunteer workers threw the beer carton in the trash in the hall waste cart. Mr. Pack saw the carton (by the way, he knew of and approved of the beer, he also had a few beers with us) and told us that we should no longer have beer at headquarters because he thought that it would leave a bad impression if anyone were to find out about it. We all agreed and the issue was dropped. Just one week later, we were going to have a servers meeting in the new hall. Mr. Pack asked me to bring some beer for refreshments after the meal. I asked about the new beer policy and I was told to "just sneak it in on the Sabbath and put it in the refrigerator". What double-mindedness! Besides, "sneak it in"?

He purchased Starbucks coffee with tithe money and told us to hide it from the brethren and they could drink the less expensive brands we had for snacks after services! The coffee was hidden right there at the serving counter! I ask you, is this proper Christian conduct?

I watched him sow discord among many families in our local congregation and caught him in numerous lies about these things and his behavior. Since the Feast, all of the current office workers at that time have quit (except one man) because of these instances (and many more).

He changed the make-up issue to lure people from TCOG to RCG citing that they had about four years of banked tithe money and if they came with us we would then have enough money to really get the work underway!

There are just too many instances to tell you about in a letter. Just suffice it to say that I saw so much that I was compelled to leave RCG on his lack of proper conduct. He has said numerous times lately that "you have to live the book" and I found him to be far from living the book!

Please also note that we, as a group, (all those that have quit working), have met with Mr. Pack as brothers and tried to bring these instances before him as in Matt 18:15. At the time of our discussion, he admitted that he was 99% wrong and that he repented and was going to change. A day or so later, he recanted and said that he was only about 5% wrong! He continues to vilify us at Sabbath services and told the brethren that if we return to RCG, that they should forgive us!!! We have all left RCG and started our own group to worship our Father on the Sabbath. We haven't affiliated with another church organization as of yet. We are going to take it slow and see where Christ leads us. We have set up a website and hope to be able to feed some through this media. We also are accepting visits from various ministers of God on occasion, as they are able to come. The website address is: http://www.cogneo.org We are all so sorry for these circumstances but we had no other choice but to leave a man we feel is not following Christ properly.

Yours sincerely,
