The Circle of Living Spirit
The Circle of Living Spirit is a multi-traditional, faith-based organization. It is a church dedicated to the unity of spiritual people. Together, we celebrate the diversity of our individual paths as we share our growth as spiritual beings.

Services
We offer earth-based, multi-traditional services in the Kent, Ohio area at the solstices and equinoxes. In addition, we focus on the cycles of life at the turning of the seasons. These ceremonies are often held outside at sacred sites.

Spiritual ceremonies provided by the Circle of Living Spirit include weddings, handfastings, and commitment ceremonies from many ancient or modern cultural backgrounds. We present both traditional rituals and those specifically created for the participants.

The Circle of Living Spirit offers other private and group rituals for local people. In addition, we provide spiritual services to members as requested. Some of these are:

• Rites of Passage
• Spiritual counseling
• Hospital visitation
• Rituals based upon the seasons, moon and sun cycles, and earth-centered holidays

Spiritual studies
As ministers and teachers, each leader in the Circle of Living Spirit accepts a limited number of students as time and energy permit. If you are interested in studying a specific spiritual path, please send us an inquiry.

Ordination candidates
Ordination students are accepted at regular intervals. Since we have a great deal of personal interaction -- that is, active mentoring -- in this process, the number of candidates we accept is limited. Ordination in the Circle of Living Spirit is not a process delineated by time as it would be if you attended a university for that purpose.

Not all candidates achieve ordination as a minister of the Circle of Living Spirit. Acceptance into the ordination program does not guarantee you will become a minister. Attaining status as a minister in the Circle of Living Spirit is a responsibility. It should not be viewed as success or failure, but as a calling, a life-style of service for which you are preparing. Ordination is only part of an indiviual's spiritual journey.

At the present time, our candidates are required to travel to Ohio to meet with the Ordination Council. If you are interested in pursuing an ordination through the Circle of Living Spirit, contact us for more information about the process.

Fund-Raising and Support Activities

By purchasing books through these pages you will support the continuing work of The Circle of Living Spirit. Here is a list of books we recommended.

Our goals include:

• purchasing, restoring and maintaining sites for spiritual activities;
• purchasing land for a spiritual nature preserve;
• creating a meditation and peace center as well as building a peace chamber;
• purchasing, promoting and protecting sacred ceremonial areas;
• creating temples and shrines for individual and group use;
• establishing educational centers devoted to individual well-being through an honoring of multiple traditions;
• establishing wholistic healing centers in which body, mind and spirit can be aligned;
• continuing to expand our service to the community
• continuing to offer tools of personal and spiritual growth through spiritaul services, workshops, facilitated discussion groups, and ceremonies

Members of the Circle of Living Spirit also offer spiritual counseling, astrological charts, rune and tarot readings, as well asworkshops and lectures in a diverse range. We're a talented group of people. Let us know your interests and we may have someone available.
