Playing the Musical Favorites of the 50s to the Present
Me and This Other Guy (Scott Lint and Mike Miller) features a very diverse portfolio of music from the 1950s to the present. A unique blend of Scott’s soulful ballads and folk roots combined with Mike’s classic rock and blues solos, the band can play just about anything. Most songs also feature Laura Tonsic adding a 3rd-part harmony, so the sound really explodes!
The band is currently
playing on the 1st Saturday of each month at the Maize Valley Winery
throughout the summer. Come check out

Band Bio:
Me and This Other Guy was established in 1998 when Scott Lint and Mike Miller started playing music together at Northsides in Akron, Ohio. Since then, we’ve played in several bars, coffee houses, wineries and several private parties. We actually once played for a wedding ceremony (and reception) on the docks at the Viking Vineyard in Kent, Ohio.
Scott Lint is a Mechanical Engineer by day and is gainfully employed as a customer service engineer and trainer. He plays acoustic guitar and harmonica with the group in addition to vocals. Scott’s family is deeply involved with music and his children have appeared with the band on several occasions. Presently, Scott’s sister, Laura Tonsic, is a permanent fixture with the group, adding wonderful 3rd-part harmonies and the occasional flute part. Laura is the only person in the group involved with music as a career, teaching vocal music in the Mogadore Schools.
Mike Miller is an Electrical Engineer by day and is employed as a technical instructor in the field of automation safety and robotics. He plays acoustical guitar and bass with the group in addition to vocals. Mike also manages Legacy, a Christian Teen Music Ministry, at his church. Established in 2000, Legacy offers local teen musicians a safe place play their music and offer their talents up. Legacy has played at worship services, festivals and retreats.
