The fee for this stud service is $2000.00 A
non-refundable deposit of $500.00 will be paid prior to the breeding. The
balance of $1500.00 will be paid no later than six weeks after the date
of whelping. Owner of the Bitch pays for ALL veterinary expenses
including: progesterone tests, vaginal cytology, collections, shipping
charges and artificial insemination services as determined necessary by
the Owner of the Stud.
THE CONDITIONS OF THIS STUD CONTRACT ARE (AND ONLY ARE) AS FOLLOWS:
1. All fees are payment for
the STUD SERVICE ONLY. At least three (3) puppies alive at six weeks of
age constitutes a litter.
2. The Owner of the Stud
guarantees that the stud is potent and that a breeding was achieved on
the above breeding days.
3. There is no refund or
cancellation of the Fee if no pregnancy occurs or there is no surviving
puppy from any breeding.
4. If there is no pregnancy
from the breeding (s) described above, then a return service will be
provided at no additional charge within the next two heat cycles of the
same Bitch. This service will be provided by the same Stud Dog.
5. The Owner of the Bitch
certifies that the Bitch has not been bred to any male (s) during this
heat cycle and that the utmost care will be taken to insure that she is
not bred to any other male (s) after this service has been provided. The
Owner also insures that the puppies will be given proper care.
6. The Owner of the Stud
will provide a properly signed AKC litter registration application upon
proper evidence of the whelping, but not before the Stud Fee is PAID IN
FULL. It is the responsibility of the Owner of the Bitch to notify the
Stud Owner of the pertinent facts about the whelping. In the case where
the Bitch is not registered with the American Kennel Club, or the Bitch
was bred to another male in violation of paragraph 5 above, no litter
registration application will be provided.
7. No offspring from this
breeding will be offered for sale to or through any pet shop, humane
organization, auction (either live or via the internet), wholesale
broker or puppy mill. The Stud Owner will, as a matter of courtesy only,
refer prospective puppy purchasers to the Owner of the Bitch.
8. Before any breeding will
occur, the Owner of the Bitch must exchange and provide a certificate of
health from a licensed veterinarian which will include a negative fecal
and brucellosis test. The Bitch will be free of fleas and will be
healthy. A copy of the Bitch’s OFA (hips & elbows) certificates
and current CERF certification must be provided.
The Owner of the Stud will provide the Owner of the Bitch with same said
certificates of health checks for the Stud, and also certification by a
licensed veterinarian that the Stud Dog has tested negative for
brucellosis. All certificates evidencing a negative brucellosis test
must be dated
within two weeks before the breeding.
9. The Owner of the Bitch
will provide a complete list of all puppy buyers (names, addresses,
phone numbers) to the Stud Dog Owner if requested.
10. There are no other terms or conditions unless stated herein as
follows:
