Ohio State Backgammon Club

The dates for 2008 are as follows:

November 2nd

 These are double elimination events.  First time novice players will play for free. And can still win prize money. In a double elimination tournament you may lose one 7-point match and still win second place.  You must lose two matches to be eliminated from the tournament.  The entry fee is $25.00 for advanced and open players.  Novice players play for a reduced fee of $15.00, but win the same as if they had paid the full amount.  This helps new players learn from the more experienced players in our group.  

     Master points are given to all who attend our tournaments.  These points go towards our Player of the Year award.
