Since 1995, I have been hand-crafting small batches of home-brewed beer with my good friend Rick (send him e-mail from the link on the E-mail Contact Page). I have become quite fanatical about brewing and have lost all desire to drink the watered-down swill the large American brewers pass off as beer.
In future updates, I hope to post an index of all of our own brews, including recipies, comments we have received, our own observations, and what we might try next time.
I grow my own hops. Here I am with my youngest son and his cat on my deck with the hops in the summer of 1997.
I will eventually be adding a "How To" page so you can brew the way we do--with meticulous attention to detail and a constant commitmant to quality, both in the ingredients used and the "golden nectar" we craft. In the mean time, check out some of the links below to see how others brew.
For now, here are some good links to sites dedicated to the fine art of Home Brewing, some good micro-brew and European beer sites, and some technical information.
