| The "Free" Stamp sculpture was created by the famous pop-artist Claes Oldenburg. Oldenburg's work can be found all over the US, and has been featured in many important museums. |
The 24 ft steel sculpture was created in 1991 for the BP (then Sohio) office tower. BP wasn't too keen of it, so it was ironically placed outside City Hall. A FREE stamp for government? yeah, right! |
