I would like to acknowledge a very special visitor to the guest book. For those who are not avid Harbour Lights collectors, Mr. Bill Younger is the founder and CEO of Harbour Lights Lighthouses. Mr. Younger is a VERY busy man, spending over 200 days per year on the road photographing lighthouses for the production of new sculptures, and appearing at the vast number of Harbour Lights signing events around the country. All Harbour Lights "Wacko" collectors know that Bill is not very "computer friendly", so this is a VERY rare (actually, his very first!) appearance to a web site for a special "signing" event. I have met Bill on various occasions to sign many of my sculptures, but to make a special appearance to sign my guest book is definitely a rare honor and pleasure for an avid collector.
Paul L. Brady (a fellow Harbour Lights "Wacko", photographer extraordinaire, and gracious friend), along with his wife Sue, had the pleasure of acting as hosts for Bill recently during Bill's weekend visit to Indianapolis, Indiana for 2 local Harbour Lights signing events. While relaxing at Paul's home after the events, Bill was tenderly "coaxed" to the computer to visit the official Harbour Lights site, as well as this site to sign the guestbook. Paul snapped the adjacent photo of Bill during this momentous occasion (as well as a daunting task) of signing my guest book. A visual proof to all the nay-sayers that it actually was Bill at the computer doing the signing! A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to Paul and Sue for thinking of me during Bill's limited visit. |
