ENTRY #193 Evan Comstock Park, Michigan USA 14 May 2000 19:00:52You should get some more info on White River Light. ENTRY #192 Jane Ewell Virginia Beach, Virginia USA 14 May 2000 01:24:12Really delighted to see the Lighthouses! They are magical and your work in photography is very special too. I definitely will check back on your nice photographs. We took some photos while we were in Hatteras area last summer. I think there are three lighthouses in that general area. Few years back we went to the Assateague Lighthouse. We also enjoy the lighthouses around Virginia Beach. I have just learned my Great-Great Granddad Floyd was a Keeper-Of-The-Light at Cape Charles, Va. I will be persuing information on this lighthouse history. Would you by chance have any information or pictures of past, about this Cape Charles Lighthouse? Well, I love lighthouses of all kinds - they are magical pieces from the past! ENTRY #191 Jo Marti Orlando, Florida USA 10 May 2000 16:56:24A very nice website! I plan to visit often. Best regards, Jo. Your pictures have convinced me where I want to go. The only thing I might add is a small map of the state or lake so you could see where a light is located in comparison to the others. My wife loves lighthouses and has a small collection of them. She had a tumor removed from her brain on 4/17/2000 that was the size of a baseball. She has been responding well to reading and I have used your pages to assist her in her reading comprehension. Thanks for being there! -Maurice ENTRY #183 Linda Litchfield Acton, Massachusetts USA 28 April 2000 18:00:32I loved your site - needed lighthouse names for my daughter's wedding seating chart, as she wants to name each table after a lighthouse in Maine.......this helped me out! Thank you for the gallery. ENTRY #178 Heather Lynch Oswego, New York USA 19 April 2000 16:00:22I love your photos of these lighthouses! I am a big fan of lighthouses. I plan on having my house, when I am older, have a lighthouse theme. In my design class right now we are painting on mirrors instead of canvas, and I love that Cleveland W. Pierhead lighthouse. I am just writing to ask if I could draw some of your photographs on mirrors, canvas, or drawing paper to paint, color with color pencil, or use other methods to put into my work. Thank you very much for creating this page and for your time. I am looking forward to your response. Have a nice day! :0) ENTRY #177 Sallie Bailey New York USA 19 April 2000 15:23:26Neat site!! Really nice photography!! I've visited, drawn, painted many of these lights. Are you aware that if you aim your mouse anyware on the window & press F11, the window will take up practically the whole screen? Much more effective for viewing. Click F11 to restore it. ENTRY #176 Lisa Mayo Germantown, Maryland USA 18 April 2000 16:39:28I've been Web surfing for 3 years, and I have to tell you that your site is one of the most beautifully designed sites I've ever seen. I found alot of enjoyment in them. They are well done and are of some of my favorite subject matters, lighthouses and nature. Can hardly wait for "monuments" to open up. Those you listed are ones I saw as a kid, and haven't seen them since the 40's and early 50's. Anyways, just wanted to say thank you. ENTRY #173 Alan Goode Cape Cod, Massachusetts USA 16 April 2000 07:41:58Excellent work, Rod. Our website will be operational in early May (www.capecodbrass.com). Thanks again for the use of your photograph on our site. ENTRY #172 Erin Sievers Avoca, Iowa USA 15 April 2000 22:43:01I am so glad I found this site. My family/ ancestors homesteaded in Colorado and my great-greatgrandfather (William Sievers) left a very big mark in Colorado history as an artist/painter. My dad discovered that there was a mountain in Aspen with the same name as our last name about 10 yrs ago during a ski trip. Since then, our family has been trying to research the connection. This is my first personal attempt to try to research the connection. Does anyone know the history of Sievers mountain? If so, please e-mail me. Your information is appreciated. ENTRY #171 Jean Kinkead Cape Cod, Massachusetts USA 15 April 2000 15:35:22The photos are gorgeous. Whoever built your site did a terrific job in displaying them and designing the site in general. Very appealing aesthetically, easy to navigate and speed of page download is great. ENTRY #170 Keli Peacock Dallas, Texas USA 14 April 2000 23:40:57My grandfather Merritt Beckwith Richards was a lighthousekeeper for the Coast Guard in the early 1900s at Pointe Aux Barques. My mother Renee Danelle Richards was born at the lighthouse in 1932. I would apreciate any information you could send me on the lighthouse and the surrounding area. Thank you ENTRY #169 Denise Leonard Sioux City, Iowa USA 10 April 2000 15:16:33I love the shot of the lighthouse in York, ME! When my husband was stationed at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for two years back in the late '80s, that was my favorite spot to go to. Felt like I was living in a postcard. You've really captured the beauty of the New England coast! ENTRY #168 Judy Landy Cincinnati, Ohio USA 10 April 2000 03:44:02My parents met in Harbor Beach because my father was in the Coast Guard.
