North to previous Goat Island South to next light Whaleback Cape Neddick Lighthouse is located on Nubble Island, a small outcropping just 600 ft off of Cape Neddick Point. Wading across the water to the island is not permitted. Cape Neddick Point offers excellent views of the island, as well as a gift shop and welcome center. The light & keepers home are brightly decorated each Christmas.
