Pemaquid Point Lighthouse has one of the most unique and beautiful settings on the entire east coast. The light is perched above a large glacial formed outcropping of rocks with reflective tidal pools stretching down to the water's edge.
The keeper's quarters is a maritime museum. Adjacent to the property is a gift shop with plenty of nautical items. We also boarded a tour boat from Boothbay Harbor, which cruised offshore from the light for a different viewpoint.
