Dice Head

Prospect Harbor Light was built in 1850. The light was renovated in 1871, but continued to deteriorate. In 1891, it was dismantled and replaced by the present light and keeper's quarters.
The 5th Order Fresnel lens from 1870 was automated in 1934, and then replaced by a modern lens in 1951. The light is located on a secure U.S. Naval Station property, off limits to the public.
