Dice Head

Prospect Harbor Light was built in 1850. The light was renovated in 1871, but continued to deteriorate. In 1891, the light was dismantled & replaced by the present light & keeper's quarters.
The 5th Order Fresnel lens from 1870 was automated in 1934, and then replaced by a modern lens in 1951. The light is located on a U.S. Navy Station property, off limits to the public.
