Sevenfoot Knoll
Lightship LV-116 was built in 1930, and served as a floating lighthouse for 40 years. Her first duty was at Fenwick Island, Delaware, and was moved to Virginia in 1933.
The ship was named Chesapeake in 1933, and was redesignated as WAL-538 in 1939. She ended her service in 1970, and was moved to Baltimore as a floating museum in 1981.
