Port Sanilac

The Army Corp of Engineers completed construction on a "harbor of refuge" at Harbor Beach in 1885. The Harbor Beach Light was then placed at the breakwater's end.
The light is identical to the Detroit River Light, completed the same year. The light is a conical brick tower, encased in cast iron plates. The 4th order Fresnel Lens is still utilized.
