New Presque Isle Light is one of the tallest on the Great Lakes. Approved by President Lincoln in the 1860's & built in 1870, it is still active with a 3rd order Fresnel lens.
The 113 foot tall tower is open for the public to climb during museum hours in the summer. The small museum and gift shop are located within the attached keeper's quarters.
