South Haven South Pier Light was built in 1903, replacing the original light from 1872. The cast iron plated conical tower stands at 36 feet tall, with an 11 foot tower diameter.
Originally equipped with a 5th Order Fresnel Lens, the beacon now features a 6th Order glass lens. A catwalk provided safe access to the light for the lightkeeper during storms.
