Grand Island
The South Buffalo Light and fog signal building was constructed in 1903, and automated in 1935. The lighthouse featured a 4th Order Fresnel lens, but was later changed to a 300mm.
The light marks the southern approach into Buffalo Harbor. Industrial properties make it difficult to visit the light up close, as was the case with my distant and blurred photo featured here.
