West to previous  Cleveland Entrance East to next light Old Fairport Fairport West Breakwater Light was built in 1925 to replace the Old Fairport Main Light. The light was built in Buffalo & transported by the Wotan to it's present location. We visited the light a day after an intense Lake Erie storm. The waves were rough, with silt & debris still churning. The short breakwater is uneven & dangerous to walk.
