Back to Vistas   Mountaintops East to next vista Sievers Mountain The Maroon Bells are some of the most widely photographed summits in the country. Located southwest of Aspen, the peaks cap off a stunning view over the Maroon Lake. We hiked the trails along Maroon Creek to the Crater Lake area. The path winded alongside trickling streams, through an Aspen forest, and over a large avalanche deposit.
