This photo was taken from the Mallory Docks, along the southern edge of downtown Key West. The dock is a special place at sunset, when many of the locals & tourists gather for the "event". Street performers "come out to play" and show off their stuff, including a man who layed on a broken glass bed while tourists walked on top of him, a steel drum player, a cat circus (hilarious), a bagpipe player, and many others.

Key West has always been special to Becki and I, since our first visit was during our honeymoon in 1989. This was also the very first time that we visited & climbed a real lighthouse; Key West Light. The restoration of the lighthouse had just been completed, so it was in pristine shape. Climbing those spiral metal stairs to the top with the spectacular view instantly triggered my total infatuation that I have today.
