This photo was taken from our hotel balcony at the Red Jacket Inn in Bass River. Located on the southern shore of Cape Cod, the Red Jacket Inn is just a few minutes east of Hyannis. The Inn is nestled between the ocean to the south, and the inlet of Lewis Pond and salt marsh to the west. Interesting views of the Bass River and Great Island can be enjoyed while walking along the sandy beach.

We have stayed at the Red Jacket Inn on two seperate vacations now, with very comfortable ocean front rooms and private balconies. The Inn has it's own private beach, only a stones throw from the balconies, and is secluded from traffic. Sitting on the balcony each morning with a cup of hot coffee was guaranteed to be accompanied by a beautiful sunrise, with the sounds of waves & seagulls.
