General Information

The Stow - Munroe Falls Lions Club is a civic organization serving Stow and Munroe Falls, Ohio and the surrounding areas.  The club was chartered in 1939 as the Stow Lions Club and is the oldest service organization in Stow .  In 2004, the Munroe Falls Lions Club joined the Stow Lions Club to better serve the two communities.

SERVICES

The Stow-Munroe Falls Lions serve the Stow and Munroe Falls communities in the following ways:

1. Provide eye exams and glasses for the needy.

2. Provide annual scholarships for Stow-Munroe Falls high school graduates.

3. Sponsor various youth activities especially at Stow-Munroe Falls Elementary Schools.

4. Support Salvation Army, Good Neighbors, and Open-M

5. Support Greater Akron Lions Eyecare Program (GALEP)

6. Support Pilot Dogs of Columbus

7. Support St. Vincent Charity Hospital Eye Clinic

8. Support the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF)

9. Support Ohio Lions Foundation, Eye Research, & Eye Lab Foundation

10. Support the Lions District 13-C hearing Aid Bank

11. Support the Munroe Falls Christmas in April program

If you are interested in joining an active group of people dedicated to helping their communities, call our membership chairperson Dale at 330-655-0880.  Membership is open to all persons 18 years and older, living or working in or around Stow and Munroe Falls, Ohio.  Prospective members are welcome at all meetings.
